Pizza delivery in fix time is a risk to life of young motor cyclists and others

I do not know and am not bothered abt carrying PIZZA or other small luggage on 2 wheeler. But Pizza shops guaranteeing delivery in fixed minutes or free pizza is very dangerous for life of riders as well as others.

Law must be put on place that no such guarantee can be given, lest advertised specially when our roads, traffic and monsoon is all too bad.

SUB:VIOLATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE ACT BY MOTOR CYCLE RIDERS(PIZZA DELIVERY BOYS OF 'DOMINO',PIZA HUT' ETC. BY CARRYING LAGUAGE ON PILLION SEAT.

Apropos to the captioned subject, I refer to Motor Vehicle Act, which permits only rider on pillion seat and no lauggage is allowed to be carried on Brake space of scooter,pillion seat of Motor Cycle & Scooter/scooty and Fuel Tank of Motor Cycle.

However, it has been observed in recent days that laugage box is fixed on the pillion seat. Not only these motor cycles are in violation of seating arrangement but these boys break signals, drive on footpaths and overtake on wrong side endangering life of pedestrian and other vehicle drivers.

Hence, I request to instruct all the POLICE OFFICIALS all over MAHARASHTRA of law & order police and traffic police to book all the Motor cyclist who carry laguage on pillion seat. Also all the Pizza Out-lets should be instructed to remove lagguage boxes from such Motor Cycles.

I hope, you will issue instruction in the interst of safety of passengers/drivers and pedestrians.
