At least you have the courage to tell the truth. The pseudo secularists like Tishta and others shout from roof top "Gujrat..Gujrat.."

Have they ever shed even crocodile's tears for  "Godhra" or Kashmiri Pandits?

After all who started the violence?

They think the so called minority has all the right to do whatever they want and go scottfree. 
After all there is limit to patience. What ever magnanimity you show, you will only get response in terms of Taliban,Al Qaeda, Kasab and so on.

Have you forgotten history? Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Md. Ghajni many times and pardoned him, but when Ghajni defeated Prithviraj, he blinded him and finally killed him. This is the fundamental difference between two philosophies and cultures.

When we go to a relationship experts with dispute in relationship they undertake a exercise where in they ask u to note down 10 or 20 good points in other person ( which in routine we never observe and only highlight all what is bad and often what we think is bad).Then shrink/ yoga teacher/ spiritual Guru will ask u to remember all those moments which remind u of good times u had with the other person ( cud be spouse or anyone in question ). Then u start valuing other person, u realise he / she is not as bad as u always thought, and slowly u start coming near to each other.
 
Teestaji, Ur steps are distancing two communities. U will ignite frustration in anti Hindu, and will be taken as pro minority
  by anti minority.
 
What Teesta and many others are doing taking biased view, condemning one against another( totally being opposite of what shrink wud do) , and hurting further the wounds which had started healing.
 
I suggest let us find one cut off date and beyond which govt and court shud not tolerate and nonsense ( which they have been always avoiding to play their vigilant and strict role where rule of law shud prevail be it minority or majority).And from that day we bury all  old issues and start new life.

The petition to the Penguin Group asks for an apology for the publication of the factually incorrect and offensive book “The Hindus-An Alternative History” by Wendy Doniger. We expect Penguin Group to withdraw the book immediately. 

“The Hindus: An Alternative History” is rife with numerous errors in its historical facts and Sanskrit translations. These errors and misrepresentations are bound and perhaps intended to mislead students of Indian and Hindu history. 

Throughout the book, Doniger analyzes revered Hindu Gods and Goddess using her widely discredited psychosexual Freudian theories that modern, humanistic psychology has deemed limiting. These interpretations are presented as hard facts and not as speculations. Doniger makes various faulty assumptions about the tradition in order to arrive at her particular spin. In the process, the beliefs, traditions and interpretations of practicing Hindus are simply ignored or bypassed without the unsuspecting reader knowing this to be the case. This kind of Western scholarship has been criticized as Orientalism and Eurocentrism. The non Judeo-Christian faith gets used to dish out voyeurism and the tradition gets eroticized...

We emphasize that this defamatory book misinforms readers about the history of Hindu civilization, its cultures and traditions. The book promotes prejudices and biases against Hindus. Can Penguin’s editors really be incompetent enough to have allowed this to pass to publication? If this is not deliberate malice, Penguin must act now in good faith. 

As concerned readers, we ask PENGUIN GROUP to: 

1. WITHDRAW all the copies of this book immediately from the worldwide bookshops/markets/ Universities/Libraries and refrain from printing any other edition. 
2. APOLOGIZE for having published this book “The Hindus: An Alternative History”. This book seriously and grossly misrepresents the Hindu reality as known to the vast numbers of Hindus and to scholars of Hindu tradition. PENGUIN must apologize for failure to observe proper pre-publication scrutiny and scholarly review.

Why be bias? Is any anti Hindu/ Gujarati  funding so u have selected only Gujarat.
 
Best would be to dump all past ( even Shahrukh , Tata's find Gujarat safe and better place and have started new ventures there.
 
Let us only work in positive direction and highlight issues of brotherhood, and hoe one community helped others in calamities, distress etc..
 
When we go to a relationship experts with dispute in relationship they undertake a exercise where in they ask u to note down 10 or 20 good points in other person ( which in routine we never observe and only highlight all what is bad and often what we think is bad).Then shrink/ yoga teacher/ spiritual Guru will ask u to remember all those moments which remind u of good times u had with the other person ( cud be spouse or anyone in question ). Then u start valuing other person, u realise he / she is not as bad as u always thought, and slowly u start coming near to each other.
 
Teestaji, Ur steps are distancing two communities. U will ignite frustration in anti Hindu, and will be taken as pro minority
  by anti minority.
 
What Teesta and many others are doing taking biased view, condemning one against another( totally being opposite of what shrink wud do) , and hurting further the wounds which had started healing.
 
I suggest let us find one cut off date and beyond which govt and court shud not tolerate and nonsense ( which they have been always avoiding to play their vigilant and strict role where rule of law shud prevail be it minority or majority).And from that day we bury all  old issues and start new life.

I am in favour of this Memorium.
