Hi all,
This issue seems to be more politicized than passion and compassions for all who are not with us centuries on wards and recently. 
Focus on the correcting past mistakes by devotion to god  who can give strength of tolerance  acceptance and reunite with single purpose to make the lives of citizens at large better
 Blame and flame legal or ethical is not getting the hidden inherent genes of indus heritage come out for the good of society but seems to be bringing the hate and intolerance

A steadfast man remains even-minded in pleasure and pain and remains established in the Self; He who remains in equanimity whether it be mud, stone or gold; he who remains even-minded in agreeable and disagreeable situations; he who remains level-headed when criticized or praised;  he who remains even in honour and dishonor; he who remains equal with friends and foe; and he who renounces the undertaking of all actions, that man is called "gunaateet" (beyond "gunas" qualities). 
 
Hopefully  the activities for making lives of people better does not get distracted
 Let us pray for all who left us and infuse the spirit of goodwill for future that such thing does not happen

I am in favour of this Memorium. However if u can remember 8 yr old then let us also remember 800 yrs old Mogul aggression, and Jaliyan wala baug, and so many other attacks on Hindus, rape of Hindu women, terror attacks of Mumbai , Puna etc., let us oppose attack on Marwaris in Aasam,attack by Naxalites, attack which Khalistanis did on thousands of innocents, attack on harijans for centuries, Attack on Pandits, on tirth yatris in jammu and Kashmir. Let us oppose beheading of great Sikhs in Pakistan.Let us oppose all genocide, violence, harassment.  Why only Gujarat. Why be bias? Is any anti Hindu/ Gujarati  funding so u have selected only Gujarat.
 
Best would be to dump all past ( even Shahrukh , Tata's find Gujarat safe and better place and have started new ventures there.
 
Let us only work in positive direction and highlight issues of brotherhood, and hoe one community helped others in calamities, distress etc..
 
When we go to a relationship experts with dispute in relationship they undertake a exercise where in they ask u to note down 10 or 20 good points in other person ( which in routine we never observe and only highlight all what is bad and often what we think is bad).Then shrink/ yoga teacher/ spiritual Guru will ask u to remember all those moments which remind u of good times u had with the other person ( cud be spouse or anyone in question ). Then u start valuing other person, u realise he / she is not as bad as u always thought, and slowly u start coming near to each other.
 
Teestaji, Ur steps are distancing two communities. U will ignite frustration in anti Hindu, and will be taken as pro minority
  by anti minority.
 
What Teesta and many others are doing taking biased view, condemning one against another( totally being opposite of what shrink wud do) , and hurting further the wounds which had started healing.
 
I suggest let us find one cut off date and beyond which govt and court shud not tolerate and nonsense ( which they have been always avoiding to play their vigilant and strict role where rule of law shud prevail be it minority or majority).And from that day we bury all  old issues and start new life.
