WIAA requested to raise car owners issues: ...millions going as bribe to RTO

Namaskar.

1. The octroi on vehicles is much more in Mumbai then in Thane, pen , etc the adjoining cities. With a result dishonest benefit by registering at false address and save thousands where as honest land up paying. WIAA should ask for withdrawal of octroi and till then there should be same octroi everywhere in Maharashtra.
2. The Maruti dealers are charging adhoc amount as Registration Incidental charges.This seems to be a bribe to RTO. Let dealers grease palm on annual basis from their margin and not charge such incidental charges. I have been charged Rs. 2516 by a Maruti dealer last week. So billions of Rupees go to govt officials as bribe for song as millions of vehicles are registered every year.
3. Maruti dealer hascharged me Rs 2566 as depot charges. If this way from vegetabkle wala, gold dealer other businessmen start charging for warehousing then I dont know how much we will have to pay? Incidentally service tax to govt on all tis was only Rs 523. Means bribe and depot charges r 10 times then what govt makes.
4. The dealer also made totaling mistake of Rs 1190 and charged me accordingly. Not all come to know. I raised an issue. To get the wrong charges reversed took 45 minutes.
5.  booked the vehicle just before the price increase. Yet they charged me new price saying the price has gone up where as the car was given from their stocks. Nowhere I have paid in life time any subsequent increase  except increse of taxes if any.
6. Maruti site does not give authenticated price with break ups city wise. Why?? To help whom ?? Dealers?? Who r mostly politicians and bureaucrats?
7. All car cos. increased the price in June by average 30000/- and then in sep launched a scheme of Rs. 30000/- off misleading consumers.
   

And WIAA has not raised any issue though they claim to be representing members / motorists.
