Namaskar Very well said. And I appreciate Sr. citizen Seva Trust.
However I feel Annaji need not be asked to do everything so there is a huge vacuum there after. Some one has to come fwd. and carry on tourch lit by Gandhiji, Annaji and many others. I feel if no activist will take it up then I feel Ad Jalan may take it up and file an PIL and I am willing to bear the expenses. As told several time in my mails I dont donate in temples but directly use the small funds available for good cause.
Also I think courts have to pull up all govts for their intentional negligence of carrying out their duties and forcing citizens to file PIL's.
And one very important point you have brought out to open is that Gujarat CM who is shouting on the top of his voice abt his achievements is a anti citizen and anti citizens rights and not appointing SIC ( State Information commissioners).
Shame on Narendra big hypocrite.I feel to me human rights and right to info and right to get the law ful work done in stipulated time is more important then any development. That means in congi rule we r in iron cage and in Narendra Rule we r in golder cage.

Senior Citizen Seva Trust has recently filed a writ petition
in Gujarat HC for appointment of Chief IC at GIC who retired on
05-07-2011 and 6 more ICs to cope up with pendency of 7000
appeals/complaints as of May 2011-end.
GIC got two additional ICs in Mar 2010 after late Shri Amit Jethwa filed writ in Gujarat HC.
Now
govts do not listen to any one except HC or SC that too with reluctance
and excuses. Common men has no place as on today. Anna may change the
scene.

Dear Tholiyaji,
After the recent retirement of Mr. Vilas Patil the erstwhile Information Commissioner (IC) of Mumbai Division of Maharashtra State Information Commission, no full time IC has been appointed for Mumbai Division of MSIC so far, and the position is lying vacant.
Information Commissioner Mr. Vijay Kuvlekar of Pune Division of MSIC, has taken over the additional charge of Mumbai Division.
And so he mainly conducts hearings for Pune Divisions and then additionally a couple of days in a week for Mumbai Division.
As a result the pendencies at Mumbai Division of MSIC has gone up, and it seems (needs to be confirmed) that the present back log has accumulated to almost close to a year.
Best Regards,
Sunil.
