No one tells u this?????? If it floods .......Alok

Pl. note that Vakola is likely to flood once again. Our leaders and BMC has not done their duty. And u r going to suffer and loose lots of money, stockes, furniture etc if it floods. U will have to spend lot on doctors bills as flood means hords of diseases.

Whet u need to do::

1. Contact ur corporator who all who claim to be leader in ur area in groups / society / chawl members in strength  and ensure Nallas are cleaned.
2. Contact Tholiya Marketing and take flood insurance for home and office,shops and godown.
3. Remove to higher levels all items which can get affected due to flood.
   
4. Get all pit holes etc covered as children, women , sr citizens can drown.
5. Ensure no water seeps in  ur power supply/ meter box, wiring etc  as can cause electrocution, failure,fire,accidents etc.. 
6. On heavy rainy day park vehicles on higher levels.
   
7. Save stocks of Cement and other items from rain.
   
8. Carry out water proofing to save internal paint of ur rooms ( but I have not done myself).
   
9. Ensure sr. citizens don't slip on wet surface.
