Sorry ......due to drought in our state the Holi event is cancelled...shortly we will announce next event

Dear JU members.

While I take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Holi but feel proud by announcing that our holi gettogahter as earlier announced stands cancelled.

I said proud cause we are only satisfied enlightened citizens of this state. Most part of our state is going thru acute water shortage. And general feeling was to avoid arin dance holi which needs several tankers of water.

Respecting sentiments of all who felt one with our bretheren facing shortage of water we have cancelled holi celebration this year which is otherwise our annual fixed agenda.

This year we can apply holi gulal tilak minus the use of huge quantity of water and enjoy Thandai and pakoras and yet celebrate festival of victory of vice over good and brotherhood.

NB: All those who do not wish to play with colors should not fe forced applied however they must understand this is not part of religion but a custom of spreading brotherhood and victory of right and good. So any one of any religion can participate in holi without disturbing their religious beliefs.

TV and media must spread awareness about benefits and ills of these customs and how ills can be overcome. Serials showing holi with water must issue some requests on save water. Colours used must be of a good quality. Trees must not be cut and instead burn waste and filth etc..

Thanks and Regards,
Alok Tholiya,

govt officials must be taught the language of friendship, guiding body and being humble

To all concerned with a request that govt officials must be taught the language of friendship, guiding body and being humble and not send out programme circulars in a hurting notice form with warning that if you do not cooperate then under so many sections they can punish innocent citizens.

Mumbai

Dear Sir,
Namaskar

Request: Our hearty Invitation to our 224th regular meeting :

For Last 10 years I have been running above  Senior Citizens organization known as Varishtha Nagrik Seva Sanstha .We have had picnics, parties, Camps,Cultural programmes, talks on issues related to old age ( like importance of making a will , on health, spiritualism, etc.. We had several speakers from Brahmakumari, Osho, Ramakrishna Mission, Jain Saints, Chinmayanand Mission, Art of Living, Hospitals, Santacruz East Yoga Institute, Civic bodies, Police office etc.

We offer items needed by patients like fowler bed( patients bed) , wheelchairs, tripods, crèches, walkers  etc.etc.. which we offer to needy without any rent.

Sir,
Residents of our area has received a notice No. Ch.E./24387/SWM dt 02/02/2013
regarding house to house Garbage collection.

Sir for any good scheme/ programme to succeed there are two most important things:
1. Brain storming with citizens/ affected masses or their representatives.
2. Pre launch awareness meet. Ideally BMC on its own must call a meeting at their cost, at their premises over a cup of tea and educate the masses about need for this programme, what benefits are expected out of such programme, what is expected of citizens and why?
I strongly feel this is very autocratic/ dictatorial to directly issue notices to citizens and punishment if they fail to comply ( as if we citizens are your ( GOVT bureaucrats) slaves).

Sir,
In the interest reasoned above I request you to come with necessary presentation/ flyers and speakers on this House to House Garbage collection programme and other current civic issues.
Next meeting of my senior citizens group named above will be held @ 4.30 pm on 15th Feb. 2013 at above address. Meeting will be over by 6pm.
Hope  you and your team will join us on this day and throw light on why and how citizens can participate in civic programmes.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Sincerely yours,

Alok Tholiya

Do v need Judges from foreign

U cant commit even small crime like stealing  a bread even if u r dying hungry. But due to genetic defects even rich and wealthy committ crime under section 498A for dowry. I hv seen there r so many of them our there who waste money like water but when it comes to marriage they expect dowery and if same is not satisfying their lust then they behave inhumanly, harrass bride, armtwist, go physical, threaten to throw her out, make her do domestic chorus even if not well, etc etc all because they want dowery. The result of a defective genes of 5000 years.

I recently saw on TV abraod a parents r punished for being careless to a child and in India for so many dowery cases for years r taken but  courts and culprits r let loose. Why ???? Do v need Judges from foreign who hv different genes who can be non partisan and give punishment which becomes lesson for all who seek dowery for extravaganza and for satisfying greed????

Indians can be as crooked as any devil in mythology

Indians can be as crooked as any devil in mythology if it comes to satisfy own greed , lust, power, position. ..

In India only servants or parents must clean things and keep them at right place.Children's take pride and say we are studying for your sake or working and are tired so we can keep things scattered.
In India monied manics take pride in taking money then they can eat and feel proud when they leave waste in plate , waste thrown all over picnic place, in trains, platforms, marriage hall etc , Besides they think it to be their birth right to leave light, fans on even when not needed and then they spoil global envirnment and are yet very religious.
Making noise , using loudspeaker, shouting a genetic defect in India.
My mother told that sweepers were well respected in her village and called Mehatraniji and they when bride will come in her matrimonial home she will bow to even family mehatrani but present generation does not respect any one. Even when I go to banks, mobile galleries etc young staff there treat me at the age of 58 and achiever of so many awards etc as a intruder and are never customers are equal forget about being kings.
We all Indians have our personal agenda and treat as shit priority of our common goal and country. Yet we are most so called religious but leave no corrupt means to achieve money, name, fame, post\, position, comfort etc.
.......Cant go on ......so bye.......Alok

1 - Did you know that Japanese children clean their schools every day for a quarter of an hour with teachers, which... led to the emergence of a Japanese generation who is modest and keen on cleanliness.

2 - Did you know that any Japanese citizen who has a dog must carry bag and special bags to pick up dog droppings. Hygiene and their eagerness to address cleanliness is part of Japanese ethics.

3 - Did you know that hygiene worker in Japan is called "health engineer" and can command salary of USD 5000 to 8000 per month, and a cleaner is subjected to written and oral tests!!

4 - Did you know that Japan does not have any natural resources, and they are exposed to hundreds of earthquakes a year but do not prevent her from becoming the second largest economy in the world? -

5 - Did you know that Hiroshima returned to what it was economically vibrant before the fall of the atomic bomb in just ten years?

6 - Did you know that Japan prevents the use of mobile in trains, restaurants and indoor

7 - Did you know that in Japan students from the first to sixth primary year must learn ethics in dealing with people -

8 - Did you know that the Japanese even though one of the richest people in the world but they do not have servants. The parents are responsible for the house and children -

9 - Did you know that there is no examination from the first to the third primary level; because the goal of education is to instill concepts and character building, not just examination and indoctrination. -

10 - Did you know that if you go to a buffet restaurant in Japan you will notice people only eat as much as they need without any waste. No wasteful food.

11 - Did you know that the rate of delayed trains in Japan is about 7 seconds per year!! They appreciate the value of time, very punctual to minutes and seconds

12 -. Did you know that children in schools brush their teeth (sterile) and clean their teeth after a meal at school; They maintain their health from an early age -

13 - Did you know that students take half an hour to finish their meals to ensure right digestion When asked about this concern, they said: These students are the future of Japan

IN India eye specialists do not wake up till patients have lost at least one eye

IN India eye specialists do not wake up till patients have lost at least  one eye to Glaucoma........Alok

I have been going for eye check up regularly but all opthals failed to   detect my loss of peripheral vision. Cause ??????.........They only look for number correction and cataract. They don't expect anyone to come up with glaucoma???

There can be simple ways to detect onset of Glaucoma / partial peripheral vision loss. Even if they paint a wall with rainbow colors or so and ask all those coming for check ups specially post age 50 then these people can be asked to see the wall and whether they can see the entire wall or not and all colors or not.

I on my own realized that when a opthal asks me to see their monitor to check eye nos. from one eye I can see wider area where as from other eye I can see only  the monitor. I emphatically told this to ophthalmologist who otherwise were sending me off again and again by saying that there is a early cataract. By this time I had lost 75% vision in my right eye. Will all eye hospitals/ docs  make check of probable glaucoma as part of their routine check? Or they will continue to wait till patients of Glaucoma come at end stage?????.............Alok

Ciertos cambios en los vasos sanguíneos de la retina pueden ser una advertencia temprana de que una persona tiene mayor riesgo de glaucoma, según un estudio reciente.
Certain changes in the blood vessels of the retina of the eye can be an early warning that a person is at increased risk of glaucoma, according to a recent study.
SAN FRANCISCO - A recent study reveals that certain changes in the blood vessels of the retina of the eye can be an early warning that a person is at increased risk of glaucoma, an eye disease that little by little robs people of their peripheral vision.
Using diagnostic photos and other data from Australian Blue Mountains Eye Study, the researchers showed that patients who had abnormally narrow retinal arteries at baseline were also those who were more likely to have glaucoma after 10 years. If confirmed by further research, this finding could give ophthalmologists a new way to identify and treat people who are more vulnerable to the loss of vision because of glaucoma.

Who encourages slums???????.....my reply to Mahatreji...

1. Bad law like rent act gave rise to slums as rental property market has been killed. There r lacs of unused flats and shops and commercial properties available but for 60 year old draconian rent act, slow and corrupt judiciary which indirectly helps the illegal encroacher and harasses landlords result in no one giving their property on rent and no new investors coming in rental market. Ask for change in rent act.

2. No population control in Muslims  UPians and Biharies who keep producing without able to support their children who then settle on roads and footpath ( many take to crime too) . Attractive family planning measures like 20 lacs , or flat in govt housing or job in govt can increase interest in family planning.

3. Saffronists who rule Mumbai have been making money and thriving on settling illegal migrants. Only true Marathi manoos are Khairanar and Dhoble rest are making money and getting vote by exploiting Marathi manoos by sloganerring,

4. If fast trains and buses are introduced to ferry people ( besides giving basic amenities) in satellite areas of Mumbai will too decongest Mumbai and note there is no love for Mumbai and easily 30 to 40 lacs can shift to other areas around Mumbai but govt is not giving water, giving bas power supply of MSEB, no good schools/ hospitals( govt must sell first land to those whop want to develop such infra in theses area like in CIDCO new Mumbai ) and then we can see people migrating up to Dahanu Palghar, interiors of Thane dist etc etc.

5. Corrupt laloo type of baby producing machines of Bihar, UP, Bangladesh too r responsible for over crowding and illegal settlements in Mumbai.

6. Corrupt BMC and Police and netas are equally responsible  for encouraging such people. If there were many Dhoblels and Khairnars then Mumbai would be different.

Note : I am not against any migrant who come and buy/ rent house and do business legally from legally built premises. My ancestors too migrated from Rajasthan but they first took room in building on rent then took shop on rent though my mother remained in one saree for days. We earn here and spend here and love my Mumbai and want not to be burden on Mumbai and we contribute to Mumbai. Illegal migrants can at least do one favor to Mumbai by keeping their surroundings clean. Come and see area around my house and it will put to shame anyone except these illegal migrants who like to live that way and feel it to be their right to make nuisance and gandagi. And Marathi speaking nuisance detectors and police constables are happy collecting bribe and encouraging them to make Mumbai a biggest garbage bin of world. There r simple ways ( one of the ideas Mrs Aliyavar did it 4 decades back  ) to advise these people to to keep Mumbai beautiful and clean ( I did a campaign in 1972 As pali hill Jaycees youth club president , Juhu is yours keep it clean) . So local police and ward officer can call meeting of all community netas and union leaders and advise that we expect cleanliness at any cost be it slum, stalls surroundings, taxi stand, tempo stand or any area where they are . It will have good effect and such meetings every quarter is required.

How can the ruling Shiv Sena-BJP say that slums mushroom because of me?

I have been on indefinite hunger strike without food and water since 23rd January, 2013 still my demands have not been met.

My demands:

1) Demolishing of the commercial tomato market and its surrounding godowns in Ganpat patil Nagar. (Owned by Upshakha pramukh)

2) MRTP action against those buildings slums and commercial structures. (as till date no substantial action has been taken) MRTP action against those ruling party post holders on whom the panchanama has been done yet no action.

3) Demolishing of all commercial structures that don't have any court orders.

4) Demolishing of the artificial ponds
created by killing mangroves for fishing and the surrounding hutments.

5) Survey by the city survey department of Ganpat Patil Nagar.

The ruling Shiv Sena-BJP is just creating a political issue and fooling innocent tax-payers.
