Pl. note that I am the only non medico / non mental health professional accpted as  life member in Council of sex Education and parenthood International. It is a very august body of leading sexologist,psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, Urologists,andrologists etc..Dr Prakash Kothari, Dr M C Vatsa, Dr Rupin Shah, top of the line doctors are members here.

 

I have guided and helped  many  married and about to be married purely as hon. social hobby/ responsibility.

 

Normally there r various reasons of facing difficulties in marriage specially of just married like:

1. Dowry/ dahej
2. misbehaviour of someone during marriage ( like causing insult/ hurt)
3. old relations which haunts
4. expectations not meeting etc etc

And  normally all focus is on above issues  where as there can be other  hidden undisclosed issues too like :

 

5.Relationships can be in deep waters due to sexual difficulties but for years one / both keep suffering without coming out in open. So under lining factor can be something else of rift but actual fight will take place for other reasons. Let us in brief understand the problems:

 

A: Organic / Physiological several reasons can affect a good performance ( long sickness ,addictions, long fatigue, low testosterone, high old  BP, high old diabetes, etc etc.

 

B. Psychogenic: Past, myths ( like virginity : during talk with a disturbed friend who had just married I casually mentioned / explained that on first night bleeding may not take place due to several reason like girl was sportswoman, cyclist, may have inserted finger etc etc then hymen may have ruptured accidentally and he left his all misconceptions against his wife and became happy husband) , misconceptions, fear ( of pain, getting caught etc etc), hatred, commitment to other person, sever untreated depression  etc.

 

If person has difficulty in arousal, erection or performance then one may avoid / not enjoy physical relations.And then can distance with partner on bogus grounds as he/ she can not come out with facts on such issues as there is a lot of stigma/ shyness/ fear  to discuss such issues.

 

If person has very good experience with earlier partner and not so good with new one then also he may become dissatisfied and which can be seen in his / her behaviour.

 

Ex may be longing for old partner or have  guilt or may be longing for good sex( experienced earlier as lady who is proffessional or already married or divorced  can be a better satisfying then a new shy inexperienced wife as she does not know all tantra).Unfortunately  some times it is ulta too where if a good virgin lady takes extra interest or shows some extra  knowledge then too husbands doubt her though it may be due her having some good knowledgeable friend, have read some good scientific books on tantra/ kam , attended some seminar ( I attended first such educative seminar some where around in 1976 ( I was bachlor and 21 yrs) organised by my very bold and dynamic college  princial Dr Kohli (N M college) where Dr Prakash Kothari demolised all myths and misconception in the minds of students and lecurers of college, and Bhaidas hall was over full) ( even after 30 yrs do u hear of such seminars for youth???). Education ministry, parents, teachers wake up. 

 

A newly wed lady being new  may be in pain and has to use cream/ zylocaine besides husband has to love , respect, give comfort, give confidence ( for future security) so she becomes relexed/ wet. But idiot husband may think she is avoiding. Etc etc .ande may further drift. If u keep her under shaken confidence then how can she be aroused and parnering? So I feel doctors, elder women in house must  question about physical relationship  and guide new couple and better take some help from qualified proffessionals. Two best organisation which I know of in Mumbai r Council of Sex education and parenthood Int. and FPI ( Family Planning Association of India), KEM hospital  whose memebrs are competeant to do proper counseling/ treatment. However two important caution here :

1. A lady should never allow profeessional to examine beyond a reasonable stage without the presence of a spouse/ another matured lady.

2. You must cross check all info on net / books at FPI , ask lot of questions etc..and understand where u r being led.

Proffessiionals / close senior relatives must further ask:  how long they had physical relations. How was their experience and satisfaction. How much they long for each other to be close, fiddling, foreplay etc etc. For man there is always fear of erection, its size ( which most often does not matter) premature ejaculation ( for both reasons psycho or physical disabilities), impotancy, etc etc. For both or one there may be reservation about conceiving ( now a days biggest hurdle is they r carrier minded , want to earn more for bigger better houes, we have spolilt the psyche of women by saying they need not be  maid after good education/ career). 

 

If there is a lack of satisfaction due to any of above reasons and they ( due to nature of our society) are likely to not likely to discuss this/ understand this. And one who can not understand can never seek help and finally will keep drifting from each other and or keep suffering silently life time. Many a times cause of discord is physical relationship  issues but are most often not unattended till it is toooooooolate.

 

I have several factual incidents to tell but one short story may be good enough:

 

A lady neighbour of mine confided something in wife and my wife took his 10 year old son to a leading surgeon of leading hospital.They cameback without and treatment and help but good assurance. When I asked my wife why they had taken Ralph ( false name) to surgeon she avoided to reply.As time passed this boy became major but did not grow any facial hair, had chest bulging out , personality was not totally boyish but I cud not say anything to his parents ( this is nature of our society).He avoided to on picnic with other boys etc .

 

By the grace of god his mother again took help of my wife for getting an appointment with this leading surgeon.When they were to leave for him that time I was told they r going to him.I cud not be that reluctant this time and asked my wife insistingly what is wrong with Ralph? She was again reluctant but on my insistance she said his mother says his private oragn is not growing.He is very shy. He does not go to male loo when others r thgere.

 

I told her u dont have to go to general surgeon but have to go to a Urologist. Then I contacted Dr Rupin Shah. Dr rupin called me in the cabin after examining this boy and showed that his one testicle has not descended ( hence can not be even seen, felt means is not doing its job of producing testesterone very vital for manhood development) and hence  he has girlish voice, no beard, enlarged breast, and no development of penis . he showed me his micro penis.

Then immediatley a surgery was planned and his testicles were put in right place. Then he was given shots of testesterone. Now Ralph is much OK. But Can he marry ?? Big question but his parents never asked me to accompany them to Dr Rupin. Dr Rupin though very nice person and knows me but as it is his proffessional ethics to not to disclose clients info in their absence has not told me nither I wud ask.

 

Parennts of Ralph have prohibited me to share this info as he shud not face difficulties in getting married.

 

By the way the earlier surgeon had assured parents of ralph that he is a child and evrything is alright and he will be OK once grows up. But Dr Rupin Shah said that this case should have been brought years back so lot cud be done at right time and saved the child from psychological trauma of years.

So if leading surgons have ignorance about sexology then u can imagine the condition of lay person and just married.

 

Wake wake wake up all. Save marriages. Save families. Have sex education.

sex education is not all about increasing demands. increasing adultery , increasing dishonesty rather it for setting right the person suffering from such difficulties as explained above and increasing pleasure, increasing honesty and developing healthy society.

I m not competent to offer advise / or talk about modern corporate working (neither u have asked me to) but yet I want to share few things as seen by me:

 Negative side:

You shud have lots of guts, influence, fearlessness ( of law and god) , be non approachable ( have PA's, VP's, whole time directors) , make govt officials in ministries , ministers etc ur shreholders and then:

1.Get bank loan

2.get huge pc of  land

3. Get licences in ziffi ( a poor cobbler will take few yrs to get his licence )

4. Get ( steal) water, power etc.

5. Break rules, evade excise, sales tax, Income tax etc etc

 

But finally bring co. to profit. Once there is a profit then fool investors, cheat brokers will ensure that ur scripts goes up and up.

 

Then plan another venture where there is a profit of above 150%. Hire one CEO. Put him to  task. He fails then replace and he succeeds then go and put another industry.

 

Keep adding on and just look in to balance sheet of each industry on quarterly basis and that's it . If  it is in red it is funeral of its CEO/ M.M., VP, and shareholders etc and if it brings profit then go ahead acquire another industry / project / ( govt is out to give all projects to handful of industrialists whether they have know how or experience or not) ( they in turn tie up with foreign companies by adding their cost ) ( if the project was given to directly to foreign good company then cost cud be 50% down). But then they may or may not be able to bribe as much as Indian cos wud by compromising with quality, delivery time, they will be able to revise quotation with the bribe several times and see the quality of project : santacruz east sky walk has several type of mismatching tile, they r slippery . so no consideration of beauty, grace has been kept and tiles r not anti skid so in monsoon, etc old, weak, women, children r slipping and falling. But on the other hand these industrialists r making house from 100 cr to 1600 crore ( Ambani). They r in IPL, Horse race , foot Ball and every other thing. See the houses of ministers and bureaucrats which r shining like gold, forget tiles every other thing is in good taste, aesthetic, interiors of class but public projects r in dirty design and looks. And then lights in subways don't work, their favourite voters from UP , Bihar keep spitting everywhere and no law is made to stop this infectious diseases spreading dirty habits.

 

So to sum up : U can make money : rise high : if u can pocket ministers , officers and fool investors.

 

The CEO : CEO thinks he is the boss but he is the slave of 24 hours of the company and is supposed to give results or be out.

 

Share holders: Lot of money will be syphoned out, but balance sheet will be attractive and further is 4 word advise by sms or email brokers will give So called advise ( tip) and u will invest blindly ( out of lust) and buy manipulated share.And keep them in locker and sleep.

 

Banks and land:   Not for poor, not for needy, but for those who can give rosy projects, make who's who partner, can bribe they will get loans at lower rate and land for peanut price.

 

Licences: U will not get even death certificate for months without bribing and several visits, u will not get death body released form municipal morgue without money, u will not get to register FIR without hours of harassment and bribe , U will not get justice from Indian courts for decades, it took 6 months and 20000/- bribe for me to get one water connection of ½ '' but these industrialists get biggest NOC's , licences, permissions, connections  in seconds and on their table . How?? Their projects r operational in a year but a small man will run everywhere personally but no permission comes in hand for years . Why???

 

Because the Indian Industry runs on different theory which is not taught in Havard.

 

POSITIVE SIDE:

 

But then Kutchi Gujrati samaj has been following the above appoint CEO principle very successfully ( though most of their business runs successfully on tax evasion like grocery, electrical, hardware, food, clothing, garment , utensils, crockery, stationary, xerox, etc etc  where they never issue any bill , never sell any thing with proper price printed, quality assured but they thrive).

So coming back to their using appoint CEO feature: They have a very good network with in community. Community takes care of old, suffering, sick, students etc.. So their own people do not cheat the employer easily from own community. When some one is running a business of retail nature then normally they r not able to expand easily as they r stuck up on their own cash counter and controlling staff and stocks . But when a kutchi is running one  business successfully then he does not stop there. He picks up one of his good own community staff and makes him a working partner and starts another shop. And then next and then next. So I have seen Kutchis and to some extent godvalia marwaris and shettys in hotel industry grow faster then others as they open new out lets / branches depending on working partner which in new management we call CEO. Is in't it a fine and useful  idea. But u shud have control over the working partner / CEO who shud not deceive and achieve in time frame ur objectives. Best thing in present environment is have clear cut black and white  MOU/ target/ profit sharing/ goals so nothing is left to chances, misinterpretation, feud, confusion etc.

 

Say there is a group of brothers with a family owned property. All may be busy in some other business activity and the precious piece of land may be lying neglected or may be gulped by land sharks or may one day go down the drain due to fight in 3^rd / 4 rth generation on ancestral property with different objectives, aims , aspirations etc..

In such a case all busy co-owners can appoint a CEO with clear but wide powers and fixed responsibilities so in set period a ambitious project comes up. IF it works out then same efforts can be continued by making it a regular joint business. Or they can part with the fruits of the unutilised piece of land on which there r many eyes set.

 

But is is not easy for most. Not all want to share the profits and in turn loose what they can get out of untouched project themselves / opportunity lost is lost. But there r most people with the attitude that main karun bhi nahi and karne bhi nahi duuun ( nither I will do or I will let u / other co-owners do). Main kar bhi nahi sakta lekin mein karne bhi nahi dena chahta ( I know I have no time, no skill, no resources to do but yes I will also not let other person do). Such people wait for destiny and prey that apple should fall on  their lap/ jholi. Yes it may one day fall but if by chance u get a nap and others can take away that apple which was about to fall in ur jholi and for which u have been waiting for long. So the brilliant r those who employ CEO who risks his life and climbs the tree who plucks all the fruits, secures them , gives you as and when u want them and for all these services he expects a small share from ur orchid. It is up to u to decide whether u want to be without assured returns in ur own life time or u want to share the fruits and happiness of  success shared .

Alokji it is realy great work of him and great idea of u to get publish directory of jain places. I think in our society, the people who just talk of religion in fact they themselves dnnt follow the pricipales of jain religion as every one is having elephant's teeth. Not eating properly can affect ur Mind and body which can affect ur:

 

nature: one can become irritable, depressed, forgetful, etc

 

eating less or unhealthy can cause several vitamin and minerals defeciencies: immunity will go down, one will catch infections faster, several health complications can develop including weak eye, poor stamina, low libido, poor performance, sexual defeciencies, fatigue, etc etc

 

From hair to heart , liver, kidney , brain everything needs poshtik Tatva ( healthy food) . It is time to wake up before it is too late.

 

Like all other mental conditions even Those suffering from Anorexia_nervosa  will never know and admit that they are suffering with any such condition ( of eating less/ not feeling like eating/ ). So best is listen to others. Next best is go to mental health expert for counseling with all pathological reports like vitamins, minerals , testosterone test results etc.

Problems

Underweight is an established^[3] risk factor for osteoporosis, even for young people. This is a particular insidious consequence, because the affected persons do not notice the danger, they can feel fit and may be brilliant for example in endurance sports.^[4][5] After the occurrence of first spontaneous fractures the damage is often already irreversible.

well written Alok sahab, Mumbai dimensions have changed. Now Dharavi tourism is new field that has emerged in recent years. there r many travel agents that r engaged in this business. i have personally seen foreigners moving accompanied by a slum women as their guide..       Wow. Thanks for such good collection of photos of yesteryears of Mumbai. In last 60 yrs the bureacrats and politicians and hand in glove media( who never raised such issues effectively and allowed deterioration ) have reduced Mumbai to Slumbay.No new facility, no new monument, nothing which we Mumbaiites can be proud of, nowhere where we can take our NRI guests or others for sight seeing. We feel ashamed when there is a guest who want an outing as we get jammed in traffic, no parking, no easy travel in train / buses. Recently I attended a marriage of a daughter of Chartered Accountant.The mammoth function one after another are only seeing is believing.By a rough estimate he spent only Rs. 2 Crores on this marriage.How many Industrialists, businessman,merchants, traders can boast  of such extravaganza.Except if they are exporters,builders and or mafia's.Rather when a businessman spends a penny he is in a debt of pound.Our government ( politicians and bureaucrats, and non vocal and unintelligent citizens) after government has squeezed the blood of businessman and industrialist (honest) ( are now endangered species) in the name of Samajwad / garibi hatao ( socialism and remove poverty) and put them under all kind of scanner, responsibilities,duties,taxes,licenses,permits,NOC's,condemnation etc. that our country is left with only white collar tigers like chartered accountants,cost accountants,Company secretaries,advocates, financial consultants,advisors,auditors,internal auditors,statutory auditors and so on ........these non enterprising, non tax paying ,non law abiding professionals are the apple of eye of our govt..Where as enterprising,risk taking,hard working industrialists, businessman who (can) convert raw in to finished, who produce and export, who provide employment,who create wealth,who can remove shortages,who can modernize our country,are harassed ,subjected to delays, banks are allowed to loot them ,authorities are blackmailing and arm twisting.
This C.A. has 5000 sq. ft. flat,3000 sq. ft. office ,bunglow at hill station,several cars,toured world but what he has contributed to our gross National product and economy???? all this he has achieved in 25 years of his passing of C.A. .what C.A. do? Advise clients on how to evade taxes?Hw to have multiple files in one name,create trust, HUF etc. for tax benefits, and finally assure you that even if there is a raid we will manage the enforcement agencies.They make again huge haul on brokering the settlement between evaders and tax enforcing agencies ( full of corrupt officers) ( pl. note no one joins these dept. to serve the nation and   rather they will never be posted in such dept. unless they promise of reaching a suitcase everyday to concerned ministers ) .


The point here I want to make is we want our country to be slave of China, Korea,Japan etc. or want it to become rich and prosperous??If you want to develop this country then take out some responsibilities from the shoulders of enterprising lot and pass it on white collared professionals.
Recently my sister called me ( she is a C.A.) up asking that I may loose bank audits as officials allocating the audit of banks and petrol pumps are asking foe Rs. 1 lac as bribe.I had no answer to give.Can't govt. fix target for these C.A. etc. like those who bring minimum 10 new service tax registration will get 1 bank audit etc..Today they work with no target and no responsibility to nation and nation makes them rich.
My own IT return and ROC return have been delayed because of my own auditors and consultants.Why no penalty on them.All those auditors who file returns late should be blacklisted from all such panels of banks and others govt. As I feel even if it is mistake of client it is there moral duty to guide,assist, help and ensure that they also take the brunt.

Bankers  for there own benefits ask for project report for financing a project as:
A) it shields them as they disown the responsibility as they financed on the basis of projection given by qualified C.A. .
B) They get mediator who acts arranges a bribe and cocktail and dinner on behalf of client.

Legally the C.A. and banker both should be equally made responsible in case borrower fails to fulfill his commitments.Atleast they be barred for life to enter / transact any business with same bank.I know of banks where manager will recommend all those who approach for funds to a particular consultant.
There are various gross violation of laws by clients and records are certified by consultants. Definitely the certificate of practice be recovered in such cases as these consultants fully and knowingly advise clients to breach the law by saying we will manage  if inquiry is made in to papers certified by him.And thus they are able to demand extraordinary fee and favor from clients as a prize.

I demand fixing these consultants and liberalizing certain laws.
Like even if you start small charitable organisation, small private limited company with your own funds ( no public funds are involved and only members contribution are stake meaning no risk to public investments) yet you have to under go hell lot of procedures , compliance,registrations etc..Where as scamsters in present times are gulping in hindered crores and govt. machinery has no time for them,smugglers are doing turnover of crores everyday but follow no rules and pay nothing yet they thrive.
Let govt. deregulate profit or non profit organisation having turnover below a particular amount.And there one single declaration yearly should be accepted unless contested by their own member.Presently even these small fries have to pay thru noses to consultants and then to Charity commissioner, ROC or the other concerned dept..Let small social organisation with yearly turnover of below Rs. 1 lac and companies with losses or profit below Rs. 2 lac or so be exempted from complicated laws as they can hardly pay to costly consultants.I repeat , times have come where a chairman ( a day light robber) of bank like ICICI robs country of Rs. 8 Crore,+ perks+ pension+gratuity+bonus+cars+FTA+Medical+children's education and+++++++ besides precious gifts and bribes then why harass and put in hell small entrepreneurs and social organizations.

P.S. My father is a cost accountant ( and I live with him),my sister is a C.A. ,my sister in law is C.S. but when I am concerned about the nation I can not but remain impartial and look for general welfare.

I will be back on doctors,on service tax , on purposeful negligence of govt. of Maharashtra and heading state to bankruptcy as when soon as I can .

Man and Machine can fail but why communication and hospitality

My mother aged 84 years has not been well for last over six months. She is hypertensive (high B..P.) and is very weak and is suffering from incontinence. Her cornea has been damaged and thus has Low vision. Therefore she cannot do household jobs to pass time. She cannot view TV .She cannot go out even to temple due to physical condition and condition of footpaths in our country. Being at home for long time she was feeling that there should be some change in life. But except for temples for sr. Citizens we have nothing here. She must have attended hundreds of guests over lunch or dinner but None in turn want to invite this ailing women even over a cup of tea (and tea is not important but change is).Those whom we thought have been close to our parents and when they invited us to a party then we took our parents along as they like to mix with all their old near and dear ones. But we were in different language advised to not to take them to such functions like why you are troubling these old parents. When it does not trouble me and when my parents get happiness then what is their problem?  And as far as hosts are concerned when they are having hundreds of guests and spending in thousands and even in lacs then attending few sr. Citizens will make them poor? But no one wants to give some warmth, time and happiness in the life of Sr. Citizen. Neither by visiting them nor by inviting them. So the 24 hrs. of Sr. Citizens is like a whole year and time does not get spent easily.

In the given situation we wanted to give my mother some change (and also we had to go out of Mumbai and simultaneously wanted to carry out some painting work in her room) .Luckily news came that Kingfisher has started flights to Nanded where my sister stays. We convinced her about private airlines being good and safe and also convinced her that Kingfisher is a very good airline and that all airlines fully take care of the unaccompanied old ailing passengers and that they will take full responsibility till she is handed over to relatives.

Somehow she got convinced and was happy that she was going out for some days. She was booked on a Kingfisher Red flight leaving at 5.50 pm on 18^th Nov.2008.

We all got up at about 4 am . After readying her we reached Kingfisher Red counter at airport at 5 a.m. . We were given a porter with a wheel chair. Though he seemed to be a nice man but we still tipped him so that we have added confidence that she will be properly taken care of. We asked on your counter whether we need to wait till plane takes off which they advised us against. We also asked if there was any form/ card with sling to be filled up with our details should Airlines require to contact us. They again replied in negative and wheeled her inside. We too left. On way we called up my sister that we have dropped mummy and that they should collect her at arrival time of 7.20 am . at Nanded Airport .

At 7 .30 am my sister called asking me to check that by how much time the flight is late? Being sleepy I told her to find at her Airport itself. She insisted that they have no communication from Mumbai. I told her to wait for some more time. However she called me up at 7.50 am again declaring that flight has been cancelled. I was taken aback and sprang from bed as I realised that it is nearly 3 hours we dropped my mother and in what condition she is? Specially she does not understand English may not understand much of announcements. I also feared if she gets disturbed then her B.P. will also shoot up which can cause any damage (though she was given all her medicines).I reached Airport with my son in ten minutes. We rushed to Kingfisher Red counter. Asked for my mother as their flight has cancelled. To our shock the lady on counter said flight has left .When I insisted that I have confirmed news that same has been cancelled. Then she started checking by calling one Rahul and some other no..For 15 minutes she struggled and when I lost my cool she ran inside the airport and returned after some times and agreed that flight has been cancelled but could not say where the passengers are. Then I started shouting as I feared mummy's B>P> level shooting up. So she called some senior Shiva. He was even carrying Walky talky. He too did not know the Nanded flight has been cancelled and where the passengers are. Then another senior lady came. She could not help us but warned me to not to raise my voice or she will call the security. I shouted and called the security and explained them the seriousness and irresponsible behaviour of Kingfisher. They in turn asked her to solve my problem. However in the meanwhile my son who was looking for some clue reached arrival section and came to know that all passengers have been kept here. However he was not allowed in by security on gate. Then he gave me call and I asked him to go to Airport manager. He was very sympathetic and sent an escort and let my son inside. No sooner my son approached my mother she who was by now in dazed condition started crying. My son pointed out this to even your Mr. Rahul. On way back my mother requested us that hence forth never to send her alone as she was in that shocked state.

 

And on return flight: Flight Kingfisher IT 4145 dt Dec 17^th2008-12-26

We booked the ticket in advance. Several warnings were given time to time like carry I card, carry Xerox of credit card if u have used others card for booking. But no warning was given

A)     That mother being old must be accompanied by an escort.

B)      Being old she should carry fitness certificate from a doctor.

So an hour before the dep. Time when she reached the Nanded airport the Kingfisher Manger on airport refused to allow her without fitness certificate and without the person accompanying.

All persuasion and arguments failed and finally one person accompanied my mother by buying ticket on spot and checked in without baggage.

Now my humble submissions:

 You spend money on high salary, costly uniform, interiors, costly calendar with semi nude costly models etc. Etc. Then why not:

1.       Give discounts to senior citizens?

2.       Why not upgrade your communication system? The moment flight is cancelled / rescheduled the SMS should go to all your staff and relevant passengers..

3.       One of the relative of physically challenged passenger ( be child, old, sick etc...) can be advised to wait till flight takes off and if abnormal delay is there then they should be allowed to be together.

4.       Why not train your staff to be compassionate and empower them to take extra ordinary measures to ensure that pleasure of clients and memories of clients are not extinguished. Sometimes it may cost you but will give you rich dividends in terms of blessings and increased loyalty.

5.       There is a compulsory requirement of putting a tag on all luggages. But no requirement for dependant clients?  Make a system that all such passengers wear a badge ( like most corporate give to their employees) which should contain details of relatives ( those who have come to drop and those who will receive such passengers at other end )with their emergency mobile nos. Even brief condition of health and languages understood should be written on 'unaccompanied traveller' card.

6.       The notice board with contact details and email id of responsible persons must be provided on every counter/office of yours. This will make ur staff more responsible and seniors will get first hand info on how ur clients are treated.

 

When Vilasrao Deshmukh announces subsidy in 24 hrs. for airlines on your appeal then why not respond to my appeal which is for senior citizens.

 

Hope u will do the needful and set an example in aviation industry about human approach towards all but specially towards sr. citizens, physically challenged.
